Right I don't want to set the cat amongst the pigeons, but are we going to play this through TGCT rulings regarding chipping on the green, because with no green grid this will be the easiest option for many and it should still be not allowed.

I think it could be open for discussion, the only thing is TGCT also have marshalls that regulate that kind of thing. I think those who have signed up so far are quality guys, so there will be an honor system here. Would love to hear others thoughts though. Thanks for bringing it up, smiffy!

I never chip on greens anyways, but I think we need to let everybody know the rules and then just hope that people will follow. Based on the people that have signed up so far, I see this as a non-issue.

I think there should be a specific rule just to make things easier on everyone and not to cause controversy when the winner of the first tournament flops from 30 ft and everyone goes bananas.
No Flops/pitches/chips or any shots with a club other than the putter on the green unless your direct line to the hole is blocked.
