I have played with everything off minus the grids and the putt cam for a while now. I am not sure I can play without the grids on this game very well. I played tiger with no grids for sometime though so maybe I just have not given it enough time. I am a die hard sim player. Love simulation games . Used to be a die hard madden player but got so sick of the BS with it and how arcadish they started making it. So I quit that and went to BF3 then BF4. I play on Hardcore no aim assist and love the game. Of course I played tiger for a long time. Always have played it on the hardest settings possible. Anyways never thougth I would leave tiger 14 then I found this game and love it. It took me a while to warm up to it coming from the diagonal swing but man it is a good game. End of the day I guess I just want to play with some like minded people and at least I know I will be playing against people with the same settings.

I have few courses I really like and gave some of them on the TGC boards already.

So how do enter the tournments? I really have not played many at all. I just usualy play a friend turn based or play ghost balls turn based. That is another thing anyone here like turn based? I really don't like the tracers golf.

I think I saw you on the HB forums a bit, and your name seems familiar - are you on operation sports at all? Anyway, glad to see you here, man. This is exactly the type of set up we promote here at RGT. Our focus is pure sim and purely for the game of golf, not really the video game of golf, if that makes any sense. I played Tiger Woods 08 for the PC diehard, played on a tour called Clambaker's that was just awesome. The tour was European based so I got to know a lot of across the pond fellas and their desire for pure sim approach. Welcome to the RGT, man. So to enter tournaments it's fairly simple, I will jot down your info - add you to the members list and score submission list, that way you can go online play your rounds and report them back. 3) want to join a realistic tour that plays weekly and has competitive events often. also, i love the ideal of the most simulation type experience so this seems like the right fit.

YOu have me down as the a PS4 when I am on a the Xb1.
I used to be in the RFC which was a madden sim club. Played in madden sim leagues for years. My first game online was with dial up on the ps2 haha. I was pretty damn good in my day. Could hold my own vs some of the best sim players in the world. One year I went 15-1 and lost in the AFC Championship with the Raiders (huge fan). That still burns. But like I said I got sick of madden and walked away. We also played tiger in leagues as well. In the old days it did not have settings to not use putt previews and all the arcade junk so we would not use them. Anyone recall tiger vision? The RFC was a big club in its day but it started to die off and I did not like the path it was going so I walked away from that as well. I have not really joined a league since because of the drama that can occur. But I figured I would try this out.
I was al little F up last night and played 3 rounds ( I think lol) and played horrible. I will get the hang of it though. So anyone on XB1 send me a FI if you want and if you like turn based I am up for it if I am online.
Thanks for making this league looks like you have a put a lot of work into it. It looks really nice.

Yeah, I hear ya about leagues. Guys were pretty active in the Clambakers that I was part of, but the main guy stepped down and noone wanted to take over, despite us being about 200 members strong, maybe even more than that. I think you will enjoy it here, this is a good group of players and passionate about the game. I look forward to the tour continuing its flight. I had your XB1 in the member's list, but hadn't changed it for the leader board - should be fixed now. |
